Big Finance

CIT is in a beautiful consolidation. Look for a huge breakout very soon. I'll be looking to get in at the bottom at 1.50 or above the 1.80 mark.

I've also got my eyes on FITB. It's been making a series of bear flags as you can see, but it is quickly becoming oversold and approaching its 50 MA, watch for a leap over the line!

FYI: SLM's got a falling wedge in the works, CNO a bull flag.

Feelin' Chipper

Anyone catch CHIP this morning? I did! Got in at 3.35 and out at 3.48 on the indecision (cross) candle. I got in because it broke its premarket highs, learn how to get in on the best trades, sign up for the alerts!

q is for u

wamuq broke out of a perfect consolidation to go the full length of its measured triangle move. now, will it go further?

AIG Finally Breaks Loose!

As expected, AIG finally broke its triangle pattern this morning and shot upwards, hope you all got the alert!

RPRX!!

I'm in at .98, out at 1.21, hope you all got the alert in time!!

Mind Your P's With Your Q's

"Mind your profits with your Q-stocks" that is! What a great run yesterday in both of these stocks, you'll notice LEHMQ set up a real nice bull flag and broke out twice, once in the morning and once intra-day. Catching this one right makes for a nice turnaround.

LEARQ used its MA's for leverage and jumped off a falling-ish wedge that could've also been considered as a bearish triangle; however on the daily charts with the market in a rally, any bearish triangle is always susceptible to a nice reversal trade upwards!

Consolidation Is Key!!

Wow! If you follow a stock and look for patterns, it can really impress you with some great results! RF is a fantastic example. I entered at 5.65 when it broke its bullish triangle and stayed with it to resistance at 6.68! This one was on the alert service immediately, hope everyone got in on it too!

KERX printed an amazing bull pennant during its premarket and roared upward on FDA news which always moves a stock! I got in at 2.00, sent the alert, and let it ride until it formed a huge shooting star on the 5 minute chart. Luckily, there was a nice bounce and patience allowed my exit at 2.42!

I am watching AIG and CROX carefully for an entry point, notice the consolidation patterns!

False Breakouts!

Sometimes, we see a really really nice setup that is almost too good to be true... in fact, it's so obvious that we're looking at our screens and loving every minute because we know that very soon, there will be a nice move in a stock. Then, as expected, the move comes in a flash, and if we're already in the stock, as I was in JRCC at 19.98, we are prepared to measure the move. But sometimes, the setup is too obvious and it is spoiled! Here, it is cut down by a shooting star and subsequent rounded top. I sent an alert that I was getting out at 20.01 before taking a loss. A good trader should always be prepared for these types of situations!

Back For More...

I happened to miss the big run up in VRMLQ on Friday. One of my members emailed me to let me know about the stock over the weekend and it certainly got my attention! I've seen so many stocks that rally this hard get another day or two of big, big profits. I sent out the alert in the morning to watch the stock, and I went long at 2.68 and stopped out at 3.17, not bad! My stops were a bit too tight on this one, but the winner at the casino is always the one who walks away with his money!
